The Daily Snapshot - "Don't Drink Your Calories!"

I am a big fan of the saying "Don't Drink Your Calories!"
   ... I would much rather save the 100+ calories found in a serving of soda or juice for a sweet treat or bit of dark chocolate come the end of the day.

Typically, I drink one cup of coffee (hot or iced with milk and sugar) and anywhere from 8-15 eight oz.glasses of water a day. For someone that used drink 2-3 servings of coffee, 3-5 servings of Coca-Cola a day, and not one single serving of water, I would say that I am now officially addicted to water! (I actually prefer my water at room temperature, and not iced cold. Is that weird?!)

Lately I have been loving the flavored water machine at work. This little gem spews out peach/mango, lemon/lime, or strawberry/kiwi water with zero calories.
    ...Mid-day each day, I have found myself wandering down to the cafe to get myself a sweet glass of flavored water as a treat (and with zero calories per serving I do not feel guilty at all!).

My favorite lately is the peach/mango. It is slightly sweet and so refreshing.
In fact, I think I am going to go get some now...

Another drink that I am currently loving is Dunkin Donuts Pumpkin Iced Coffee with Skim Milk (& no added sugar). It is the perfect fall caffeine fix for a pumpkin-lovin' girl like myself!

  2. I am loving the pumpkin coffees lately. Although I make my own most days since they are pricey!

    Wish I could taste some of that water :)

  3. As usual, I am loving lots of coffee :D I try to stick to 1-2 cups in the morning, but that rarely happens haha :(

    What can I do!? Sometimes I just need a pick-me-up :D
