I've had the racing bug for a while now. So far I have run four 5K's, a 5-Mile race, and a Half Marathon.
...As of this weekend, my husband has the caught racing bug too.
In fact, by the time we got back to our car to leave the race he had found THREE more races for us to do together before the end of the year.
...I'M PUMPED!
This past Sunday we took part in the CVS Caremark 5K and raced on behalf of my workplace. It was a lot of fun (there were close to 10,000 runners!), and since it was my husband's first time running in a while we decided to take the walk/run option and simply enjoyed the 3.1 miles.

My sister ran the race with us too. She KILLED it!
Our next race is the Halloween 5K on October 30th.
...& this time we have a time goal in mind!

Oh what fun, running a race together! I ran a halloween 5k last year, hoping to do it again this year. I didn't run in costume last year but I will this time :)
