Hi Again!
I thought it would be fun for me to share some recent delicious eats that did not make it on to yesterday's What I Ate Wednesday - A Day In My Life post!
Let's start with the most delicious of them all...
...Fresh baked cupcakes: Margarita, Pina Colada, Red Velvet, Marshmallow Cream, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Carrot Cake, Pink Lemonade, and Chocolate/Vanilla flavored. Each flavor was delicious, moist, and sweet... Just the way a cupcake should be!
I picked these up from Dino's Bakery which is just a short drive from my house before heading out to the Providence Waterfire with some friends over the weekend. There were four of us, so we quartered the cupcakes and were each able to try some of each flavor!
Even Hailey thought they looked delicious and would not get out of the way so I could get a decent picture of them!
Speaking of my cat Hailey...
She has also been helping me a lot lately with the laundry. Whenever I start to fold clothes she jumps right into the laundry basket and steals plays with our socks.... She is such an odd cat, but I love her nonetheless!
Moving on...
As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker's Program and Bird's Eye Steamfresh Vegetables, I received a great package of four not-yet-released rice, potato, and vegetable medleys to try and review!

The verdict: So far, so good! My husband and I loved the Primavera Vegetable Risotto (which I served mixed with chickpeas as a complete vegetarian meal). We have also tried the Creamed Spinach, which we both agreed was better than we expected (we are not big fans of cooked spinach but there was just the right amount of cream to make this dish pretty darn scrumptious!). Later this week we plan to give the Mushroom Risotto and the Roasted Red Potato/Green Bean mixtures a try!
Birds Eye Steamfresh Chef's Favorites products are set to be released into stores in September, and I strongly suggest you give them a try! Each package serves two so it was the perfect size serving for both my husband and I to enjoy (I am always a fan of not putting delicious foods to waste!). The best part is, however, that they cook in under 5 minutes so they are perfect when you need/want both a delicious and fast meal!
I recently also received my winnings from the Stoneyfield giveaway hosted by Courtney @ The Granola Chronicles! I can't wait to cash in these coupons for some delicious Stoneyfield Activia yogurt... FOR FREE! Thanks Courtney!
What is the best thing you have eaten recently?
